Daily Dooley

Mother of all Breaches

It's tech trivia time!

Question: What was the nickname given to the massive 2024 data leak that exposed 26 billion records from platforms like Dropbox, LinkedIn, X and more?

Answer: MOAB (Mother of All Breaches)

In January 2024, cybersecurity researcher Bob Dyachenko in collaboration with Cybernews discovered a massive compilation of records from thousands of past data breaches. The 12-terabyte database was exposed on an unsecured server and wide open to the internet - making it the largest data dump ever discovered.

Why "Dooley?"

Inspired by the founder's alma mater - Emory University's spirit mascot, Dooley represents the voice of the student body. And when Dooley shows up to your class, you can count on a fun time and the rest of the day off!
