WARNING: Windows 10 goes EOSL October 14, 2025!

The death of Windows 10

During each of their most recent earnings calls, Dell, Lenovo and HP all cited Windows 10 EOL as the driver of a major refresh that is to come next year, with commercial customers as the buyers.

What does this mean for your IT Team?

As of recent reports, Windows 10 still holds an estimated 60-70% share of the laptop and desktop operating system market.  Many enterprise companies delayed upgrading to Windows 11 due to the significant capital expenditure required for purchasing new devices that meet the operating system's strict hardware requirements.  This financial hurdle, combined with competing budget priorities, has led to widespread postponement of refresh cycles.

How My IT Retrieval can help!

As the Windows 10 End of Life deadline looms, IT teams will already be stretched thin staging and deploying new devices to ensure a seamless transition for their organizations. The last thing they should be burdened with is the logistical headache of retrieving old devices.

That’s where My IT Retrieval comes in—our efficient retrieval process takes that task off their hands, allowing IT teams to focus on what matters most.  Plus, if needed, we offer additional IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services to securely and sustainably manage the retired devices, ensuring compliance and peace of mind.
